Bluestem PACE assists you so that you can remain safe and independent in your home as long as possible. This is made possible by implementing a comprehensive, managed-care program for each participant. Our interdisciplinary team will provide and coordinate all services for you. This “one-stop shopping” will give you more time to enjoy life—doing the things you truly love.

Vision and hearing services
All health care, including primary care and specialist physician services (other than emergency services), must be received from the PACE organization or an entity authorized by PACE. Participant may be fully liable for the cost of unauthorized services, other than emergency services.
A person who meets all of the following requirements is eligible for PACE:
Eligible for services according to state of Kansas guidelines
Age 55 and older
Assessed to be safe in the community with PACE services at the time of enrollment
Must live in the PACE service area
The Bluestem PACE approach
In the Bluestem PACE program, the interdisciplinary team assesses each participant's needs and progress by having frequent contact. As your medical needs change, modifications to your care are made for early intervention. Bluestem PACE is focused on treating the whole person, not just his/her combination of medical conditions.
